Born from Norman Walsh's original 1981 design for marathoner Bolton Harries’ NYC race, this time-tested hiking icon now combines heritage DNA with modern comfort. The 600D reinforced nylon upper fused with thermal-regulating velvet offers lightweight warmth, while breathable pigskin collar lining ensures optimal moisture control.  
Redesigned with Freudenberg midsole technology for enhanced flexibility, it pairs a hand-finished EVA midsole with Vibram® NEWFLEX outsole – engineered for energy-efficient cushioning and durable wear. Forty years refined, it transforms marathon-bred resilience into everyday stride perfection.
